FabTeeZ is 3 month old!

As we are boarding our plane for our Christmas vacation, I want to pause and celebrate the fact that FabTeeZ is 3 month old today. In these 3 months, we have achieved our goals (small, but still goals!) of selling 20 tees a month, getting some sales from non-friends/non-relative, and at least once-a-week blog post.

What's next? Oh, there are so many things; first, I am thinking of doing a giveaway in conjunction with a brand new line coming up right around Valentine's Day. And trust me, the giveaway will be a good one, so like us on Facebook or follow us with this blog. Taking a sewing class is another thing on my list. And yes, oldie, but goodie, new colors for some favorite designs will be introduced as well.

Anyway, as the year is about to end, we would like to SHOUT OUT a big THANK YOU to our customers and fans. We won't be able to achieve our goals without you and may next year (the Year of the Snake) bring prosperity to all of you.

Oldie, but goodie architectural pictures

I found all these pictures from our visits to great architecture around North America and Ms. E was my scale figure in all of these pictures. You, architecture buffs out there, any guesses where all of these are taken?

FabTueZ - A Treasury for Ms. E

Ms. E is turning 9 in several weeks. I have a mixed feeling about this as it may mean that we are closer to teenage years. There are days that she is still my baby, wants to cuddle and hold hands. But  there are more and more days that she is not a little girl anymore. She is independent and confident and doesn't seem to need me anymore. The treasury below reminds me of her as a cute little baby and the color yellow symbolizes optimism in the near future with living with a soon-to-be tween.

Let It Snow!

Despite of my cursing for my 2 hour commute this morning, I have to admit that Minneapolis is looking rather charming today. Snow everywhere and it even lured me outside to take pictures. And as I was taking pictures, I have the sound of Mr. M humming to this song in my head: "Snow on the rooftops, snow on the trees, snow on the green grass, and snow on me. Snow on my mittens, snow on my nose, snow on my head, and snow on my toes. Whirling, twirling, swirling down, down and down and down and down." by Kathy Reid-Naiman.

Enjoy the pictures and stay warm!

FabTeeZ Family Holiday Card

Holiday is coming and gotta make holiday cards!  I thought we would do a family picture wearing the same tshirts for our holiday card. The inspiration for the tshirts was Rudolph, the red-nosed reindeer. We had the screen already, all I had to do was to cover Rudolph's nose with tape, so it doesn't get painted green. I bought fabric glitter paint in red to paint the nose.

And below are some sneak peeks of the un-edited photos of us with the tshirts. Stay tuned for the final holiday card utilizing these photos!
