FabTipZ - Etsy Teams

It is Thursday and it is tips-sharing day. I have been reading a lot of articles regarding how to sell successfully at Etsy. One of the suggestions is to be involved by joining Etsy teams. As a newbie, it was hard for me to navigate the 5,000 something teams that Etsy has. I am not sure which team I should join and which one will compatible with our store. Weeks have passed without successfully finding the right teams. Earlier this week, the stars are starting to align, I found one particularly good team and it is simply called "ETSY SUCCESS". Who can argue with such name! And they have 30,000 members, wow! So, I posted a question asking for a feedback for my store and within an hour I got 10 feedbacks! I was very, very happy with the response. The quality of the feedback is wonderful. Below is a summary of the feedback that I am planning to act upon in the near future:
  1. angodesigns and companyfortytwo said to have less wrinkles on the tee
  2. KelleenKreations, QsFlowerStand, VintageHoopla, and SweetHoneybunch said to post pictures with human being wearing the tees
  3. BeyondTheBarrel said to use solid number, instead of fractions (.95 etc)
  4. BeyondTheBarrel also said to add more description to each item
  5. ShayBayDesigns, JoliesCutesies, HullStreetGreen said to promote on social media (Facebook, Pinterest, Wanelo, Twitter etc.)
So, stay tuned as we revamp our store and try to navigate the journey of getting more sales!

And just for fun, I entered this treasury for the Lightning Challenge from Treasury Challenge NonTeam. For my fellow architect friends out there, enjoy the fantastic elevation drawings by various artists!

As an architect, I think drawing elevations are the most fun thing. And Nate from StripMallArt (http://www.etsy.com/shop/StripMallArt) seems to enjoy it too!treasurychallengenonteam.blogspot.com/

    FabTueZ - Orange Party

Mr. M's 4th birthday is coming up in 2 weeks. He loves orange. For his birthday last year, we handed out light blue tees of giant "3" orange number to his friends.

Without any hesitation, he requested another orange party this year, I am not sure yet what I will do for his birthday. Maybe a birthday tee is in order? As a starting point for an orange party, I turned to fellow Etsy sellers. Check out what I found below and hopefully this will inspire you who is also in need of an orange party!

FabTipZ - Post Etsy Treasury List on Your Blog

Thursday has arrived. I have decided that Thursdays would be the day I would post about fabulous tips (FabTipZ) I found this week. This week, I have successfully learned how to post my Etsy Treasury list on my blog by using a step-by-step guide provided by Handmadeology. If you like the layout of my treasury list post, below is what I selected from the drop down menus.

There is one small picky thing that I couldn't resolve. For some reason, it capitalized all of the descriptions from my Etsy treasury list, see below. It looks like I am screaming to my reader :-) Does anybody have this issue as well?

Stay tuned for next Thursday's FabTipZ!
